High school Graduation, Scholarship Grants and Colleges

04 September 2010

To earn a spot on a scholarship grant, Lily has to submit an essay on two topics. She just finished high school and her parents are not really able to send her to college on their own. Lily wants to help her parents out and go to college on a scholarship, or maybe she could work part time to support her way through school. This second route might not be very easy but hard work and dedication would surely reward her later on. Her parents want her to land a spot on a scholarship grant instead of working her way through college. Her parents promised to shoulder her allowance and books and would do their best to allow them to buy her a new notebook to set her off to college. In one of the college’s she applied to, the topic for the essay would be all about “Unemployment Benefits By Phone” and the other college requested that she write an essay on “unemployment benefits part time workers”. These topics only seemed rational as she plans to apply for a scholarship grant to be able to get a degree on Business Management. Lily has always been a top student in class and her parents are quite confident that she will manage to get a scholarship grant on one of the schools she applied to. She has already submitted her essays to both colleges and the results would probably come in two weeks from now and she is very excited. Her best friend and high school classmate Jessie also applied for scholarship grants in dreams of earning a degree in Bachelor of Science in Math. Lily is also confident that Jessie will land one as Math has always been her strongest points.
